(also called HOOP HOUSES, COLD FRAMES and HIGH TUNNELS.  They call them POLY TUNNELS “across the pond”.)

 

IT ALL STARTS with our galvanized steel FRAME KITS built at our shop in Virginia, using US manufactured galvanized steel tubing.

OUR FRAME KITS include HOOPS (or trusses) made of 1 3/8” OD galvanized steel tubing, GROUND STAKES made of 1 5/8” OD galvanized steel tubing , PURLINS (or runners) made of 1 3/8” OD galvanized steel tubing, complete HARDWARE PACKAGE (including corner braces), and an INSTRUCTION BOOKLET.  In addition, you can CALL with any assembly questions.

We manufacture 10’, 12’, 16’, 20’ and 24’ wide GREENHOUSE FRAMES in virtually any length you want (usually multiples of 4’).  Our 10’ and 12’ STANDARD SIZE FRAME KITS are built with .047 gauge tubing.  Our CUSTOM FRAME KITS are built as follows:  the 16’ and 20’ frames are built with your choice of: .047 gauge tubing or .055 gauge tubing.  The 24’ frames are built only with .055 gauge tubing.

1.  CHOOSE YOUR FRAME KIT

STANDARD SIZE FRAME KITS.  The quantity of work and materials to manufacture, assemble, ship and cover the 10’ or 12’ FRAME KIT is virtually the same.  For this reason, they are priced the same.  Your decision should be based on which size (and corresponding shape) best fits your needs.

 

CUSTOM FRAME KITS.  For a frame kit that is longer in length, than listed above, CALL for a price quote.  We also CUSTOM BUILD 16’, 20’ and 24’ wide frame kits.  Please call us to discuss your particular needs.

Our goal is to offer you the ability to construct a commercial quality greenhouse for a fraction of the cost of purchasing one elsewhere.  For this reason, we manufacture commercial quality FRAME KITS at our shop and offer the following specially selected products, conveniently packaged.

  • 4 year 6 mil protected GREENHOUSE FILM (custom cut to size).

  • EXHAUST FANS (cfm sized to kit) with thermostat/humidistat controller and self-closing louvered vent cover.

  • INFLATION FAN KIT (with mounting bracket/diverter).

  • JUMPER HOSE (with twist on couplings).

  • 3.2 oz. GROUND COVER (cut to length).

The rest of the materials you need can be purchased at your local building materials supplier, for far less money than buying from a garden or greenhouse supply store.  This consists of lumber, door (if desired) and end walls (if you don't want to use our GREENHOUSE FILM).  The instruction booklet has a detailed materials list.

2.  CHOOSE A COMPLETION PACKAGE

COLD FRAME COMPLETION PACKAGE.  Adds one layer of GREENHOUSE FILM to the standard frame kit of your choice to extend your growing season and for use as a large cold frame.  *Note:  cold frames do not usually have end covers.

 
 

GREENHOUSE COMPLETION PACKAGE.  Adds two layers of GREENHOUSE FILM, a properly sized EXHAUST FAN w/ VENT COVER and an INFLATION FAN KIT (this provides insulation value for heating the greenhouse year-round growing.)

 
 

END WALL COMPLETION PACKAGE.  Adds two layers of GREENHOUSE FILM and a 18’’ JUMPER HOSE (for inflation) for both ends of the greenhouse.

 

  

3.  ADD EXTRAS

GROUND CLOTH.  Adds one layer of ground cloth fabric, which is placed on the ground, to help control unwanted weed and grass growth.  Sold 10’ or 12’ wide and cut “a little long”
